Well known as a region of gastronomy, there are many fine foods that await your attention, such as ‘fois gras’, ‘truffles’ ‘magrets’ and many other delicacies created by our local gastronomic artisans.

There is also a large choice of restaurants in the area and there are menus from 10€ upwards.
If you love country walking, then from ‘La Bastide’ there are a number of routes that can be chosen, leading through woods and valleys and even leading to the discovery of a roman church.

For those with classical tastes there are a number of concerts happening in the region, (classic and baroque) set in prestigious surroundings, e.g.  Brantôme abbey, the troglodyte church at Aubeterre and various roman churches.

For those who just like taking things easy, there is a swimming pool and the grounds of ‘La Bastide’ are at your disposal.
